Akim of Pavlodar region checked the readiness of schools for the beginning of the academic year
Every fifth school in the country is being renovated in Pavlodar region. Already on the first of September, students of 44 Pavlodar schools will start studying in renovated buildings. The readiness of educational institutions for the beginning of the new academic year was checked by Abylkair Skakov during a working tour.
Of the planned 46 educational institutions, repair work has been completed by 90%. Among them is secondary school No. 28, which was partially damaged by a fire in May of this year, the consequences of which have been completely eliminated today.
- On 1200 sq.m. they replaced the roof, restored offices, damaged equipment, and installed additional fire protection. The school is completely ready to receive children, - assured the director of secondary school No. 28 Gulmira Mantykova.
The head of the region recalled that during major repairs of schools, it is necessary to separately accept work on the electrical part. From now on, the fire warning system in institutions is checked by specialists from the relevant department, and not by a private organization. Also, the regional akim was convinced of the complete elimination of the consequences of a local fire in secondary school No. 1 and checked the readiness of the institution for the new academic year.
In secondary school No. 22 named after. B. Momyshuly for the first time in 40 years is carrying out a major overhaul. In addition to the reconstruction of the building and landscaping, the roof was completely replaced at the school, which increased the deadline for commissioning the facility.
Abylkair Skakov instructed to complete the repair work in a quality and timely manner, and also warned about the responsibility of the contractor, KazEvrostroy LLP. In turn, the construction organization assured that it would increase the number of workers and that on September 1, students would be able to sit at the desks of the renovated school.
Further, the regional akim visited one of the large schools of the regional center - secondary school-gymnasium No. 9. A large-scale reconstruction of the building is being carried out here, taking into account the opinion of the parent community. The roof has been replaced, the overhaul of offices has been completed, the overhaul of two gyms and a canteen is nearing completion. And next year it is planned to commission an extension for primary classes.
Abylkair Skakov paid special attention to the quality and safety of the work carried out in the schools of the region. This applies to educational institutions in the village of Golubovka, Irtysh district and the city of Aksu, students who will temporarily study within the walls of local houses of culture. It is worth noting that rural schools have not been repaired since the day they were founded, so the parents of the students were sympathetic to this situation, on the opinion of which, first of all, the authorities of the region rely.
- On the first of September, all schools will start teaching in the traditional format. In these two schools, it takes a little longer to complete the work. With an integrated approach, it is not always possible to fit into the schedule of construction and installation works. On average, compressor reconstruction lasts 4-5 months, and holidays last 3 months. Therefore, if we want to upgrade schools qualitatively, there is no other way. Parents supported us in this matter and are ready to wait until the repair is completed, - Abylkair Skakov emphasized.
In general, 9.2 billion tenge was allocated for a large-scale project for the comprehensive renovation of educational institutions in the Pavlodar region, which is 14 times more than in previous years. This figure is the highest in the country.
