Akim of Pavlodar region singled out three important aspects of modern education

Emotional education, desire for reading and hard work. Akim of Pavlodar region Abylkair Skakov stopped at these priorities in educating the younger generation and improving the quality of education at the August conference of teachers of the region.

Akim of the region noted important stages in the development of the regional education system and the achievements of the professional and pedagogical community. Abylkair Skakov paid special attention to emotional education, which should be centered on a tough policy against bullying.

- First of all, it is necessary to create a positive and safe climate within the walls of educational institutions. Each of them should have their own written policy of relations and behavior. This document does not have to be formal. The main thing is to constantly explain to children, give real examples, teach them to recognize certain signs of bullying, simulate possible consequences, - said Abylkair Skakov.

To this end, the head of the region proposed to introduce a regular extra-curricular activity, which should be an effective measure for the prevention of bullying and the development of emotional education. Abylkair Skakov also noted the need to develop the activities of libraries in the region.

- We need to increase interest in reading in children. Our libraries, I see, are trying to keep up with the times. They create mobile applications, launch various projects, such as bookcrossing. I always rejoice when I see people at the shelves near the regional library. Thus, it is important to continue the qualitative popularization of libraries, they should become centers of attraction for the younger generation, - the regional akim emphasized.

Abylkair Skakov called on libraries to cooperate with institutions of additional education, culture and youth associations to introduce fresh formats for attracting readers. He also suggested that the library spaces be used for thematic conferences. Speaking about industriousness, akim of the region dwelled on the importance of the continuity of generations.

- We need to develop the institute of clubs for graduates of schools, colleges and universities. Real stories told live by those who studied at the same educational institutions are much more motivating than TikTok videos. With their examples, stories about the career path, with its ups and downs, graduates can inspire today's schoolchildren and students to work hard, - said Abylkair Skakov, noting a number of other advantages of the measure: the possibility of introducing mentoring, mentoring, scholarship programs, commercialization of science.

The heads of national centers, journalists and representatives of educational foundations also shared their vision of the development of the education system, who spoke about new approaches, including the formation of an anti-corruption worldview of schoolchildren.

The conference ended with the ceremony of awarding 18 best representatives of the pedagogical community with letters of thanks, certificates of honor and badges of the regional akim, as well as badges "Excellent worker in education" and "Veteran of labor". The Pavlodar kindergarten No. 14 was recognized as the best institution of preschool education, and the Ekibastuz secondary school No. 11 was recognized as the best city school. The best among rural schools was the school of the village of Michurino. Among the TVET institutions, the Shcherbakty Agrarian and Technical College was noted.
