A resident of Pavlodar region who saved three children was presented with an apartment

Akim of Pavlodar region Abylkair Skakov personally thanked Andrei Karandashov, a resident of Aktogay district, and handed him the keys to a 3-room apartment.

The incident occurred on July 15, 2022 in the village of Prirechensk, Aktogay district. Two seven-year-old twins and their nine-year-old brother nearly drowned in the Irtysh. Thanks to the timely actions of the villager, all three were saved. First aid was immediately on the spot.

Akim of the region handed the keys to a three-room apartment to the man and thanked him for his heroism.

“This is not just a masculine, but without exaggeration a heroic deed, invaluable for all of us and especially important for loved ones and relatives of the children you saved. I am proud that there are people like you in our area. Thank you so much for being an outstanding citizen of our country. On behalf of all the inhabitants of the region, I thank you,” Abylkair Skakov said.

In addition, the head of the region awarded Andrey Karandashov with the badge "For services to the region."

Andrey Karandashov was born in the village of Prisk, Aktogay region. Married, has two children. Currently works at Aktogay-Agro LLP. Until that moment, he lived with his family in a rented house.

Earlier, the 33-year-old villager was thanked in the Department of Emergency Situations of Pavlodar region, as well as in the akimat of Aktogay district.
