On the territory of the FEZ “Pavlodar” this year they intend to begin construction of nineteen new projects, seven of which will be put into effect before the end of the year. This was announced by the executive director of the management company Aibek Tursyngaliyev at a retreat chaired by the oblast akim Bulat Bakauov.
– The total investment of this project pool is 119 billion. tenge, of which this year we intend to master 32 billion tenge. Thus, by the end of the year, the total investment will be 100 billion tenge, – said Aibek Tursyngaliyev. – The volume of production increased to 120 billion tenge. The geography of export deliveries is also expanding. We supply our products to more than 20 countries.
The head of the region drew attention to the execution of the questions asked by the residents of the free economic zone during the previous meeting. In particular, he recalled that the representatives of Guissenhouse LLP asked for help with leading the railway line to the enterprise.

 

         

The representative of Guissenhouse LLP asked the oblast akim to support their initiative to the Ministry of National Economy in order not to pay the export customs duty, which is 3%. The company has started supplying doped aluminum to Uzbekistan and has already shipped two large shipments. Given that the price of export products in foreign markets is quite low, the company can not make a profit commensurate with the costs that it incurs for production.
Arystan Kabikenov, deputy akim of the region for investment, noted that the state supports domestic producers who produce export products in terms of reimbursement of transportation costs.
Bulat Bakauov noted that investors are often afraid to invest their own or borrowed funds, since they do not know whether the necessary infrastructure will be allocated. This is, first of all, heat and water supply, summing up the traffic interchange.
– One of the main tasks of the management company is to attract
investments in the free economic zone, – said akim of the region. – This in turn allows you to create new jobs and produce new types of products, including for export.
Bulat Bakauov noted the good work of the company’s employees to improve the image of the FEZ “Pavlodar”, including in the international arena, and instructed to continue to continue work to attract domestic and foreign investments using the opportunities of our republic’s embassies in foreign countries.
