Cooperation continues

Akim of the region noted that the backbone enterprises of the region, members of the ERG group, make a significant contribution to the development of industrial potential and provide employment for 22.5 thousand residents of the region.

     “Today, your company contributes to the development of a social partnership institution and raising the living standards of enterprise employees,” said Bulat Bakauov. – At the same time, great attention is paid to health protection and the improvement of their qualifications.
The head of the region in his welcoming speech said that in 2012-2018, the social investments of the Eurasian Group in the Pavlodar region exceeded 17 billion tenge.

          Thanks to the financial support of patrons, a number of social and infrastructure projects were implemented last year, including the construction of a 50-meter Olympic-style swimming pool and the cable car on Myrzashoky Mountain. Also, at the expense of sponsorship, support is provided to the national football and volleyball teams.
In the field of education, two hostels are being built for 200 places for the Aksu college of ferrous metallurgy and the Interregional Training Center in Ekibastuz. Part of the funds will be directed to strengthening the material and technical base of Pavlodar College of Nonferrous Metallurgy and Aksu College of Ferrous Metallurgy.
The amount allocated in the framework of the memorandum in 2019 amounted to 3 billion tenge. These funds will be directed to the construction and repair of socially significant facilities. The memorandum will finance the repair of the region’s roads, the reconstruction of the central embankment of the city of Aksu, and the installation of street lighting. Sponsorship funds will be invested in the construction of yard sports fields and a football arena.
Akim of the region thanked the leadership of the corporation for their contribution to the development of the region and noted that this is an indicator of high social responsibility.
At the end of the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation.
