Continuous system of IT education in Pavlodar region
This became known during the working visit of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Aimagambetov. The College of Information Technologies hosted a round table “Personnel for production. Supply and Demand” with the involvement of enterprises and colleges.
The director of the college, Serik Dzhartybaev, spoke about the training of academic classrooms, the opening of laboratories for three-dimensional modeling, robotics and electrical engineering, network administration, graphic and web design.
“A business incubator has been opened in the college, where there are already more than a hundred successful startups,” the director reported. - We cooperate with major companies Microsoft and Festo, the IT-HUB Academy and the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology.
Ainur Imansharipova, coordinator of the Center for Relevant Professions, said that 14 colleges were involved in creating the AAC network. At the same time, five specialized hubs appeared - IT-Hub, Agro-Hub, Art College, Creative Economy, Recycling and Recycling hubs.
- We carried out work on vocational orientation with pupils, students and youth representatives of NEET, - said Ainur Imanipova. - On the statistics of unemployed youth on opening and running their own business.
With the support of the akimat of the region, a regional online platform "Tandau" was developed on the basis of the IT college. A resident who has reached the age of fourteen can register on any platform and find a job by qualifying skills. The service allows employers to find the employees they need and apply for retraining of employees. "Tandau" is merged with the republican ones and search errors of Eichar selection appear: "Enbek.kz" and "HeadHunter".
During the round table, the regional akim spoke about the ongoing work on the employment of specialists in demand in the labor market. Abylkair Skakov noted that over the past two years, funding for the technical and vocational education system has increased from twenty-five million to half a billion tenge.
- An important help is the sponsorship of the city-forming enterprises in the double form of education, - Abylkair Skakov said. - All twenty-seven colleges of the region are supervised by large enterprises. We also involve representatives of medium and small businesses in the patronage of TVET organizations.
Akim of the region also spoke about the creation of an IT education system. An IT school was opened on the basis of Toraigyrov University NJSC, where everyone can take a job cut and take short-term courses in the basics of programming. Also, the Faculty of Informatics was opened at the university to train IT specialists.
- In the staff of the people of Kazakhstan, the Head of State instructed to train at least one hundred thousand qualified IT specialists, - Abylkair Skakov. - In the near future we will produce five thousand specialists in demand in this industry.
Principals of colleges and enterprises received information about the problems with the delivery and exchange of views on improving the system of technical and vocational education.
