Another greenhouse may appear in Ekibastuz

In the framework of the ХІІ Economic Forum in Nur-Sultan, Akim of Pavlodar region Bulat Bakauov met with representatives of the Russian company Ecoculture and discussed with them the issue of building a greenhouse for growing cucumbers. The main activities of the investor company are the sale of micronutrients and the introduction of plant nutrition technology.

 

The head of the region offered investors from Russia to build a greenhouse on the territory of Ekibastuz GRES-1, where they can use cheap electric energy produced by the station. Bulat Bakauov promised to provide full support for investors willing to invest in the development of the region.
“At present, the station has 25 GH calories of thermal capacities,” the oblast akim noted. – The cost of a Watt of electricity will be a maximum of 8 tenge. This is the lowest price across the CIS.
Representatives of the Russian company were interested in the supply of carbon dioxide, which is necessary for better growth of vegetables. The head of the region offered investors to buy carbon dioxide from the Pavlodar petrochemical plant.
Following the negotiations, the parties came to an agreement on the construction of a greenhouse near the Ekibastuz heat and power plant, where investors will not experience a shortage of electricity and labor. Akim of the region assured investors that he is ready to provide assistance within the framework of the agreements reached.
