Pavlodar region plans to increase the number of dairy farms

Akim of the region Abylkair Skakov got acquainted with the progress of sowing works in the places of residence of peasant farms of Pavlodar region. This year, the sown area in Pavlodar region is a fraction of a percent larger than last year. The district is a source of growth in terms of irrigated area.

The head of the Askhat farm, Kadyrbek Nurpeisov, said that a sprinkling machine more than one kilometer was used for these purposes. Farmers plan to collect about fifty centners of vegetables per hectare.

The farm contains a contract with the PepsiCo Corporation for the supply of potatoes for the production of chips. About thirty percent of the potato crop farmers are exported, but the bulk goes to supply demand. At the same time, the farm plans to build a vegetable store for ten thousand tons of products.

- Our region is the most advanced region in terms of the number of available vegetable stores, - said Abylkair Skakov. - The total capacity of all storage facilities is about 450,000 tons and shows this figure every year.

In KH "Rainbow" drip irrigation. Carrots are grown on eighty-five hectares of irrigated arable land. It has already risen and after July 20 the first dawn is expected here.

All types of vegetables of the borscht group are planted on the fields of the farm "Rodnik". According to the heads of the region, sown areas in agriculture are effectively diversified: eighty hectares are sown with vegetables and carrots, 16 hectares are given to cabbage and another 12 hectares are beets. Abylkair Skakov found out that such an approach would help Pavlodar vegetables at an affordable price.

Further, the regional akim visited the construction site of the Andas peasant farm - one of the most important agricultural producers not in the region, but in the whole country. A dairy farm for 1,200 dairy cows is being built here.

- This is a very good initiative, which must be eliminated within the scheduled time frame, - Abylkair Skakov said. - In total, there are six dairy farms in the region, of which 13 farms were built in 2020–2021. Eight more MTFs will turn next year. This will create hundreds of new jobs. The most important thing is that we will provide our milk processing enterprises with high-quality raw materials, - Abylkair Skakov noted.

In addition, the economy plans to build a vegetable store, a grain complex and expand the irrigated area. KH "Andas" is a source of growth in the region by the presence of vegetable stores. To date, the total storage capacity is forty-five thousand tons.

At the end, Abylkair Skakov visited the fields of Naberezhnoye LLP. The head of the region met with an experienced agronomist Nikolai Strelba. In a conversation with a farm consultant, they talked about the level of scientific support, as well as the state of the seed fund of the region.

Nikolai Strelba shared his plans to transform Naberezhnoye LLP into an elite seed farm using the best Kazakh and Russian wheat varieties. Sowed ten hectares of experimental plots. The farmer is going to conduct summer excursions for the exchange of experience for the agricultural region.

Abylkair Skakov supported this idea and instructed to provide all possible assistance to the implementation of this initiative.
