Akim of the region Abylkair Skakov again checked the works on the improvement of the city of Pavlodar and gave a number of instructions to strengthen them.
The head of the region began the detour of the regional center by planting trees on the territory of the new Sports City microdistrict. This year, about five thousand seedlings have already been planted here, and three thousand more fir trees are planned to be planted by the end of May.
- It is important not only to plant a tree, but also to grow it, - said Abylkair Skakov. – We are determined to achieve exactly the result.
Akim of the region appreciated the work on the breakdown of flower beds on Constitution Square. The number of which will grow this year, watering will also increase three times. Abylkair Skakov instructed to gradually plant perennial flowers in a certain style.
It is worth noting that this year the improvement measures have taken an unprecedented character. So, it is planned to replace paving stones on 50 thousand square meters of sidewalks by the fall.
A special surprise awaits the townspeople on the Central Beach. Two piers will be built here, which will be dismantled at the end of the bathing season. One of them is designed specifically for low-mobility groups of Pavlodar residents.
In addition, there will be three canopies made of reeds, five rescue towers, the same number of solid waste collection points, six changing rooms, many canopies and sun loungers on the beach. All work is scheduled to be completed by June 5. A new modular toilet with vandal-proof equipment has already been installed.
- Until now, the state of our Central Beach has not satisfied anyone, - said Abylkair Skakov. – People want to relax, sunbathe, come to swim. But we didn't have basic conditions. There should be a locker room, showers, deck chairs. I instructed to deliver high-quality, washed sand, to make piers.
In conclusion, the head of the region checked the construction of the TM-31 heating main. Work is underway in the area of the intersection of Ak streets. Bekturova-Estaya. As of today, the laying of pipes at 700 meters has been completed. In total, about 1400 meters of the highway will have to be updated. As the contractor's representative assured, by June 20, the work on Estaya Street will be completed, and will continue on Ak Street. Margulana. This will make it possible to connect hot water to 29 houses in this area.
As the general director of Pavlodar Thermal Networks LLP Marat Imanaev informed, hot water supply has already been restored in almost the entire northern part of the city. By June 1, hot water will be in 1,180 houses, which is 90 percent of all Pavlodar high-rise buildings. The rest will be connected in July after the completion of major repairs and construction of TM-31.
- This has not happened for a quarter of a century for sure, - Abylkair Skakov stressed. – Previously, we had four or five months without hot water at home. Let's introduce a new practice so that in the summer people have hot water without using heaters, so that they do not pay extra money for electricity. I insisted on this during negotiations with your shareholders, and we are obliged to fulfill this task.
Abylkair Skakov demanded that the contractor strictly observe the schedule of work, and in case of a backlog - go out to the people and publicly admit his guilt. The governor of the region also recalled that total control will be organized over the construction process.
