There is one less unauthorized landfill in Pavlodar

Akim of Pavlodar region Abylkair Skakov got acquainted with the progress of cleaning the territory between the Suvorov cemetery and houses 53, 55 on Malaysary Batyr Street.

More than 1.5 thousand people participated in the clean-up. Among them: public figures, civil servants, as well as active residents of the city. 60 units of special equipment were involved. As a result, more than 1,200 tons of garbage were removed.

The area of the territory behind the houses on Malaysary Batyr Street, 53 and 55 is about 62 hectares, with a complex relief.

According to Akim of the region Abylkair Skakov, in the future, a park for recreation and leisure of local residents could be set up on the site. The head of the region suggested discussing the issue with the public.

 – In the future, it is possible to create a park here, but first we have to clean this area of garbage, – said Abylkair Skakov. – There are no places for recreation in the Eastern microdistrict. We can work in this direction if we can instill a culture of cleanliness here together.

Residents of nearby houses asked the head of the region to restore order in the territory adjacent to private garages, which has also been turned into an unauthorized landfill. Abylkair Skakov promised to help in this matter, but once again stressed that order in the city is the concern of every resident.

There is a similar situation around the Suvorov Cemetery. There is also a variety of garbage accumulated here. Abylkair Skakov demanded to clean up this territory within two weeks. In addition, the head of the region instructed the city administration, together with the local police service, to take control of the movement and dumping of garbage by truck.

At the end of the detour, the akim of the region visited the Zhanaaul microdistrict. Asphalting of intra-village roads with a total length of 4.2 km is being completed here . According to the mayor of the city Asain Baykhanov, previously there were no paved roads in the settlement. Abylkair Skakov instructed to perform all the work efficiently and on time.
