It is planned to reduce the waiting time for buses in Pavlodar

Akim of the region Abylkair Skakov set such a task for carriers during a visit to city transport enterprises on April 6.

The head of the region noted that complaints of citizens about long waiting for buses have become more frequent. Abylkair Skakov reminded the management of the bus fleet No. 1 of the obligations assumed by the investor under the memorandum.

- About 100 new buses are expected to arrive in the summer. It is necessary to minimize the waiting time for routes to 5-10 minutes. It is also necessary to raise the level of service, - the akim of the region demanded.

Director of the bus fleet Aituar Zhangazin said that today 62 drivers work here and now they are additionally recruiting staff who will undergo special training.

The governor of the region instructed Asain Baykhanov and the director of the fleet to conduct permanent work within the framework of the memorandum.

In the tram department, Abylkair Skakov got acquainted with the work of the car repair shop, checked the introduction of electronic ticketing.

Chairman of the Board of JSC "Tram Management" Muslim Mahmudov spoke about the timely maintenance of cars.

- During the repair, we completely remove the electric motors, lubricate the bearings, conduct an electrical audit, - said Muslim Makhmudov. - Every year, 60 percent of the park undergoes major and current repairs.

The Governor of the region recalled the need for timely completion of the reconstruction of "silent" tram lines in the city, ensuring the safety of transportation of citizens and improving the level of passenger service culture.
