Akim of Pavlodar region held a meeting with the staff of the electrolysis plant

Akim of Pavlodar region Abylkair Skakov paid a working visit to the Kazakhstan Electrolysis plant, during which he got acquainted with the activities of the enterprise and held a meeting with the staff of the plant.

At the foundry section of the aluminum electrolysis shop, the head of the region was presented with a weighing system for primary aluminum. Alexander Slyusarenko, head of the plant's automation and communication department, said that the system will be launched after the end of commissioning.

- The automatic weighing system applies laser information about the weight of the package, the melting number, the batch and enters it into the system, - said Alexander Slyusarenko. - This is a step towards digitalization of our production.

At a meeting with the labor collective, Abylkair Skakov noted the importance of the electrolysis plant for the country's economy.

- We need to reach a new level of self-sufficiency of the economy, - said the governor of the region. – It is necessary that the finished products, and not the raw material base, accumulate in our country. As an example, the head of the region noted the production of aluminum radiators and car wheels on the territory of the FEZ "Pavlodar".

During the further conversation, the employees of the electrolysis plant asked about the improvement in the city, the repair of roads, the walking distance of educational facilities.

Telephone electrician Tatiana Katsenko asked to tell about the plans for the construction of new housing. Abylkair Skakov spoke in detail about the development of the Saryarka and Dostyk microdistricts, as well as the Zhastar microdistrict on the territory of the Sports City town.

- The Zhastar microdistrict is planned, it has not been started yet. The Dostyk microdistrict is already being implemented and will be built up to the airport ring," the head of the region said. - A school, a clinical hospital and a sports complex will be built here.

In the residential district "Zhastar" it is planned to build 10 thousand square meters of housing, a full-fledged school, kindergarten, shopping centers. In the construction of residential buildings, they intend to use public-private partnership here. The development of the microdistrict will give an additional impetus to the development of sports facilities located here. This is a football arena, an ice skating rink, which have been functioning since recently. The construction of the martial arts center will be completed this year.

Director of JSC "KEZ" Serik Donbekbayev spoke about the housing program of the group of companies "ERG", noting that the search for a site for housing construction is currently underway. Apartments in houses built by the company are intended for employees of aluminum and electrolysis plants.

The employee of the plant Eldos Zhumabek asked about the plans to repair the central embankment and hold concerts "Ertis Promenade". Abylkair Skakov said that funds have already been allocated for the current repair of the embankment.

- Also, it is planned to reconstruct the embankment of the Usolsky microdistrict, - said the akim of the region. - In the future, I would like to connect it with the central embankment.
