At the airport, he was met by the oblast akim. The head of the region, Bulat Bakauov and Peter Foster, solemnly cut the red ribbon by the plane. Peter Foster thanked the mayor of Pavlodar region for cooperation and for the cordial welcome, and as a token of appreciation presented Bulat Bakauov with a small model of the aircraft – an exact replica of the Fly Arystan aircraft. In his welcoming speech, the oblast akim noted the importance of launching a new low-cost airline.

“Statistics of flights from Pavlodar shows a high demand from residents for flights to the city of Almaty,” Bulat Bakauov noted. –
Today I was aboard, making sure that inside was comfortable, the seats were very comfortable. We will try to create convenient logistics so that people from Pavlodar can easily get from the city to the airport and back. Loukoster will operate as a subsidiary of the national aviation leader Air Astana without attracting budget funds.

Peter Foster is the president of Air Astana, the daughter of which is Fly Arystan. “We are glad that we were able to fulfill the wish of Elbasy, and brought low cost air transportation to Pavlodar,” said Peter Foster. – Pavlodar is a wonderful city, but it is located far from the southern capital, in the north of our country. You can get here by train, but it takes a lot of time and is not so cheap. We are pleased that with the help of low-cost flights we will be able to connect the north and south of the country.
Besides, Peter Foster promised to launch another flight soon – from Pavlodar to Nur-Sultan and back. Tariffs are going to keep at the same level. Recall that now the minimum cost of a flight from Almaty to Pavlodar is 6999 tenge. However, you need to have time to book it in advance.
The airline will serve the route of Almaty and back daily. Departure from Pavlodar will take place at 18:50, arrival in Almaty – at 20:40. Flights will be carried out on modern Airbus A320 aircraft, designed to carry 180 passengers in economy class. Already in 2022, the airline plans to increase the number of fleets from 4 to 15, which will increase the demand among the local population for air travel.
