Ways to solve the main problems of youth were proposed in Pavlodar

A strategic session was held at the Regional Center for the Development of Youth Initiatives, during which the problems of NEET youth and ways to solve them were discussed. Youth activists, creative youth, students and schoolchildren became the generators of ideas. The head of the region Abylkair Skakov also took part in the brainstorming.

First of all, the moderators of the strategic session identified six main areas in which it was proposed to identify "pain points" and find a solution for each of them. As part of several groups, young people offered their vision of youth employment, providing them with housing, involving them in business, organizing leisure activities, improving the educational process and patriotic education. Experts represented by representatives of state bodies, second-tier banks and development institutions helped the participants of the discussion with their advice.

- If we want to build a new Kazakhstan, then we need to address the aspirations and needs of the youth, - said the head of the region. - Youth policy is one of the main issues on today's agenda. The state allocates huge funds, implements many programs for the development of this sphere, and now there is a question about the effectiveness of these measures. And only young people themselves can answer this question today.

As a result of a four-hour brainstorming, a number of ideas arose, which, after detailed study, the leadership of Pavlodar region promises to adopt. One of them is the creation of a coordinating council for reforms in youth policy. In addition, at the strategic session, it was proposed to organize a Center for the Development of Mass Sports in the region and build the Zhastar microdistrict, in which social housing would be provided exclusively to young people.
