Contractors in the Dostyk microdistrict will adhere to the same construction quality standards
Akim of Pavlodar region Abylkair Skakov visited the construction sites of a new microdistrict and announced the unification of the standards for the construction of newly built housing.
The head of the region got acquainted with the construction of residential buildings in several areas. According to the mayor of the city Asain Baikhanov, six new buildings for 431 apartments have already been commissioned in Dostyk today. Today, nine high-rise buildings are being erected in the microdistrict at once. The plan is to start construction of five more houses this year.
- In total, it is planned to hand over about eight thousand apartments in Dostyk and provide housing for 20-25 thousand citizens, - the mayor said. - In addition to housing, the microdistrict provides for the construction of the necessary social infrastructure: two kindergartens for 1200 places each, two schools for 2000 places each, medical, sports facilities and recreational areas.
When building new housing, contractors pay attention to creating a barrier-free environment. The entrance groups of high-rise buildings are equipped with ramps, and the doorways inside the new buildings are being expanded. Take into account the builders and the interests of parents. For example, in one of the houses under construction there is a room for wheelchairs.
Bypassing construction sites, Abylkair Skakov drew the attention of contractors to the need to unify the standards for housing being built. According to him, even if all high-rise buildings are being built by different contractors, future newcomers should receive apartments of the same quality.
- Housing is the number one issue, and therefore it is necessary to meet all the requirements for its quality,” the head of the region emphasized. - All apartments under construction must be solid. In order not to end up with better apartments in one building and worse apartments in another, we need to unify the standards of their construction for all our contractors. And this applies not only to the interior decoration of housing, but the improvement of adjacent territories.
The area of the Dostyk microdistrict is 95 hectares. Housing is being built in three phases. Currently, the construction of the first stage is actively underway. In order to start implementing the second and third phases, the authorities need to transfer more than 500 summer cottages to state ownership. Now the city akimat is evaluating them for subsequent redemption. Akim of the region noted that already now it is necessary to assess whether the existing heat supply infrastructure is enough to heat the entire new microdistrict. At the same time, he recalled that in the interests of the future residents of Dostyk, existing consumers should not suffer.
