A batch of the drug «Sputnik Light» intended for revaccination arrived in Pavlodar region

In total, 6.5 thousand doses of the vaccine were delivered to the region. In the near future, «Sputnik Light» is promised to be distributed among polyclinics.

 

Aidar Sitkazinov, head of the health department, spoke about the batch of a new drug that arrived in the Pavlodar region for revaccination during a briefing at the Regional Communication Service.

 

- We distribute «Sputnik Light» among polyclinics depending on the number of people assigned to each of them, - said the head of the regional health department. - We also received permission to carry out revaccination with the first component of the «Sputnik V» vaccine, the stock of which in the region is about 6 thousand doses. There are corresponding letters from the manufacturer and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

According to official data, more than 52.6 thousand residents of the region have already undergone revaccination. As for vaccination, more than 355,000 people received the first component of all drugs available in the region, and about 338,000 people received the second component. Starting this week, healthcare workers and people over 60 years of age began to receive the «Pfizer» vaccine on request. Recall that previously this drug was available only for adolescents, pregnant and lactating women.
