IT-school was launched in Pavlodar

An educational institution was opened on the basis of Toraigyrov University, which will train specialists for the field of information technology. To date, 260 residents of Pavlodar region have already expressed a desire to study in a new school.

The project was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Pavlodar Region and the Eurasian Resources Group corporation. The IT school will teach in narrow areas and specializations in the field of IT. They promise to train personnel in a short time, both for specific companies and for freelancing. The first students of the new educational institution were greeted by the head of the relevant ministry, Bagdat Musin, who took part in the opening ceremony of the school via video conferencing.

“The IT school is opening as part of the instructions of the Head of State to train 100 thousand personnel for the information technology sector until 2025,” he said. - In Kazakhstan, a national project "Technological breakthrough through digitalization, science and innovation" has been introduced. Within the framework of this project, Pavlodar is the first to open an IT school. I would like to congratulate and wish the staff and students of the school success.

The deputy head of the region Saken Shayakhmetov noted that a large-scale educational ecosystem is being developed in the Pavlodar region, aimed at the development of information technologies and digitalization.

“Everything starts from the school desk, and therefore the Zamanaoui Mektep program has been implemented in the region since last year, thanks to which 12 schools have already been modernized, where modern robotics and IT classes have appeared,” he stressed. “These modern schools will lay the foundation for the skills that children will need in the future. If a child decides to engage in IT, he has several paths. One option is to enroll in the College of Information Technology, which will open early next year. Here, repairs are carried out, equipment is updated and teaching methods are revised in order to give their pupils skills of an applied nature. In addition, from this year, the Faculty of Computer Science began to work at Toraigyrov University. This is also a great event for our region.

Rector of Toraigyrov University Erkin Sadykov and head of BTS Education Sayasat Nurbek also took part in the official launch of the new educational institution. The honored guests presented the beginning IT specialists with certificates for training within the walls of the school. They will be able to gain knowledge in web development, Data Science, 3D modeling, VR application development, SMM and much more. To date, 260 students have already registered at the school.
