Two sports facilities were presented at once in Pavlodar

On the occasion of Independence Day, the sports community of Pavlodar region received a double gift - a new ice-rolling arena was opened in the "Sport City" microdistrict, and a table tennis center "Jenimpaz" was officially opened in the regional center.

The skating rink on the new ice arena in Sport City was the first to be tested by the pupils of the Children's and Youth Sports School No. 1. The game between the 11-year-olds was also watched by the akim of Pavlodar region Abylkair Skakov, who assured that they would continue to work on the development of mass sports in the region.

“The entire sports community of the region has been waiting for the delivery of this project for a long time, because the existing arena in the Astana ice palace was no longer enough,” the head of the region noted. “Now more of our children will have access to the sports infrastructure. I think that soon we will discuss with our athletes and coaches the program for the development of mass sports in order to strengthen the position of Pavlodar sports at the republican and international levels. Happy Independence Day to everyone!

The sports facility is equipped with the most modern technological equipment. Thanks to the development of Kazakhstani IT specialists, the arena employees were able to manage it remotely. Famous people in winter sports from Pavlodar appreciated the quality of the new arena.

“I would like to say thank you on behalf of all the boys and girls who are involved in winter sports and their parents for such a wonderful sports facility,” said Lyudmila Prokasheva, bronze medalist of the 1998 Olympics in Nagano. - Indeed, we all asked for it for a long time. And we are very pleased that now the possibilities of Pavlodar "winter roads" are expanding. It is very important.

Pavlodar table tennis fans also received a gift for the 30th anniversary of Independence. The Jenimpaz specialized center was officially opened not far from the Bayantau sports complex. It is designed for 15 tables and is already accepting pupils of the children's and youth sports school №2, as well as children who go in for ping-pong under the per capita funding program.

“According to the state program, four coaches are already working in the center who teach 150 children,” said coach Daulet Iskakov. - We received modern equipment and sports equipment for our use. It's a pleasure to play here! If you organize your work correctly, 800 to 1000 children will be able to play table tennis only in Jenimpaz.

On the Independence Day, the Pavlodar Table Tennis Cup was held on the new sports ground. 70 athletes took part in it.
