Caring for the disabled of group I will begin to pay benefits

The relevant amendments to the legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on social protection have already been approved by parliamentarians. Also, the new changes provide for an increase in benefits for children with disabilities.

According to the adopted amendments, Kazakhstan will introduce a benefit for those who take care of a disabled person of group I. This social payment will be assigned regardless of the cause of disability. It is worth noting that 2832 disabled people of group I live in the Pavlodar region.

Another change will affect families where children with disabilities are raised. If today all disabled children receive benefits in the amount of 48023 tenge, then after the approval of amendments to the legislation, the recipients of social benefits will be divided into three groups. After that, children with disabilities of group I will receive an allowance in the amount of 65,860 tenge, group II - 54541 tenge, group III - 48023 tenge.

In addition, changes to the legislation will allow the simultaneous provision of state social benefits for disability and loss of breadwinner. Previously, special children could be assigned only one of these types of benefits. To date, there are 2,077 children with disabilities in the Pavlodar region.
