In the Pavlodar drama theater named after Chekhov started the 77th season

The new season in the regional drama theater was opened by the comedy "Oscar" based on the play by the famous French author Claude Magnier.

The audience began to gather in the theater long before the performance began. As the residents of Pavlodar themselves admitted, they really missed their favorite artists.

- We have been going with our friends to the opening of the theater season for several years, - said one of the spectators, Yulia Goncharova. - This is a big holiday for us. We are sure that this season the theater troupe will be able to surprise us with new premieres.

The theater employees, indeed, prepare several gifts for their audience at once. Almost every month during the season, the Chekhov team will stage new performances. The first premiere will take place in October - the audience is waiting for the musical "Dubrovsky" based on the story by Alexander Pushkin. It was directed by the Moscow director Igor Merkulov.

As for the Oscar, which was presented at the theater on the opening day of the season, the traditional sitcom once again made the audience laugh. It all starts with the fact that one morning a whole bunch of problems fall on a successful Parisian businessman - a subordinate robbed him, his daughter became pregnant, and the company began to have difficulties. But, despite all the plot twists and turns, the story ends well for all its participants.
