The main thing is safety: The readiness of schools to work in the traditional format was discussed in the Pavlodar region

How the Day of Knowledge will be held, whether schoolchildren need uniforms and who will ensure the safety of children during the educational process — these issues were raised during an expanded meeting of the regional akimat.

According to the head of the Department of Education Dinislam Bolatkhanuly, this year the schools of the Pavlodar region will accept about 114.1 thousand children. This is almost 3 thousand more students than last year. For the first time, 11508 first-graders will sit at their desks.

-This year, the Day of Knowledge is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, - said Dinislam Bolatkhanuly. -In compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements and a limited number of accompanying persons, on September 1, the solemn lines "Kel, Balalar, okylyk!"will be held for first-graders of all schools. For students of grades 2-11, a republican class hour, an open lesson on "Achieving Independence"will be held in the assigned classrooms. School attendance is allowed in comfortable classic-style clothing.

To ensure sanitary safety, schools will carry out daily morning filtration, ventilation, quartz treatment, disinfection and wet cleaning. Educational institutions will work under the "Ashyq" program for teachers and technical staff, the principle of "one classroom – one office"will remain in schools.

- Schools are allowed to switch to a six-day school week, - said the head of the Department of Education. - The management, boards of trustees and the parent community of educational institutions will make a decision on the operating mode independently. The mask mode will be preserved for teachers and students, and unauthorized persons will be prohibited from entering the school.

Akim of Pavlodar region Abylkair Skakov focused on the observance of the epidermis in each educational institution. As of today, 340 educational facilities out of 352 schools have already received the conclusions of sanitary epidemiologists to start working.

- With the beginning of the educational process, it is necessary to selectively check educational institutions, - the head of the region instructed. - All precautions have been taken, but you need to know how much they are being observed. The issue of safety is very important for children, for teachers, and for parents.

They are trained in schools and in terms of ensuring public safety. At the moment, 15% of all educational institutions are not yet equipped with alarm buttons. This gap will be eliminated after the next clarification of the regional budget. In addition, schools are changing the usual watchmen for specialized security. For example, in Pavlodar, employees of security agencies will be responsible for the safety of children in 158 educational organizations at once. To extend this experience to other cities and districts, there are not enough suppliers - today there are only 9 licensed security agencies operating in the Pavlodar region.

Abylkair Skakov stressed that this should be a message for business representatives who need to form a professional environment and improve the quality of security services provided. Akim of Ekibastuz Ardak Kantarbayev and head of the Irtysh district Ayan Beisekin also reported on the readiness of schools for the new academic year.

The governor of the region reminded the mayors of cities and districts about the responsibility for ensuring security in educational institutions. The organization of the educational process in the traditional format in the conditions of a pandemic is the most important task today.
