The head of the region Abylkair Skakov visited institutions working under the state sports order, the renovated youth sports school "Batyr" and the reconstruction site of the stadium of secondary school No. 9 in Pavlodar.
Thanks to the per capita financing system, new children's groups have been opened at the Kim Song-soo Taekwondo School. In total, they plan to take at least 80 additional pupils here.
- Previously, many parents could not study at our school due to lack of financial opportunities, - says the school's coach Kim Yeng Ro. - After the introduction of the per capita financing program, 2-3 children from the same family began to come to us at once.
In addition to free admission for children, the fulfillment of the state sports order also means an increase in the salaries of coaches. For example, at Kim Song-soo School, six coaches had the opportunity to improve their financial situation at once.
Visiting the base of the regional boxing federation, Abylkair Skakov expressed the hope that its representatives will be more actively involved in the process of training children. He drew attention to the need for certification and professional development of trainers.
- The methods of training are changing, - the head of the region told the executive director of the federation Azamat Makazhanov. - You have returned from the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, where you saw how coaches and boxers from other countries work. This is very important, because we need to preserve the foundation of the old school of Pavlodar boxing and start applying new skills and competencies.
The akim of the region also spoke about the preservation of traditions in the youth Sports School "Batyr", where judoists are trained. Last year, major repairs were carried out here and now they have high hopes for the school's infrastructure and its coaching staff. Abylkair Skakov instructed to completely release Batyr from non-core functions.
- It is necessary to focus on the revival of a strong Pavlodar judo school, - said Abylkair Skakov. - Ideally, Batyr should become an organizational and methodological center for Pavlodar, Ekibastuz, Aksu and our districts. If we invite good coaches here who will train our teachers, in 3-5 years we can count on long-awaited victories in judo.
The head of the region was also told about working with children within the framework of per capita financing at the Altyn Kids development center. Thanks to the program, the number of pupils of the center has increased from 187 to 445. Today, children are engaged here both in sports sections and in creative circles.
- There are a lot of people who want to study in a dance circle: if there were 3 groups before, now there are 7 of them, - said the head of the center Irina Isakaeva. - The drawing circle has also expanded - instead of 3 groups, 11 now work. In addition, we opened a chess club, because children and their parents had a need for this.
The governor of the region also visited the site of the reconstruction of the stadium of school No. 9.A modern football field, a universal playground for volleyball and basketball, a gymnastics zone and a running track are being built here. The project provides for lighting, video surveillance and landscaping of the territory. Abylkair Skakov instructed to ensure the accessibility of the future site for everyone who wants to engage in physical culture and sports.
"It should become a center of attraction for both children and adults," the head of the region stressed. - For the first time in many years, budget money is being invested in the development of sports infrastructure here, we must give everyone who wants to play sports, especially children, the opportunity to use it.
One of the examples of an open sports infrastructure facility is the streetball courts at Toraigyrov University. They were erected on the site of parking spaces on the territory of the university.
