Abylkair Skakov has made a working trip to Bayanaul

I got acquainted with the rates of vaccination against COVID-19 in the Pavlodar region and listened to the requests and wishes of veterans of the district.

The head of the region visited the vaccination point in the Toraighyr village. As of today, 140 out of 320 residents who are recommended for vaccination have been already vaccinated. In general, about 5.4 thousand people received the first component of the vaccine in the district, the second – 4.3 thousand residents. This is one of the lowest rates of vaccination campaign in the context of cities and districts of the region.

- Just today (August 2 - Approx.), we opened an infectious diseases hospital with 20 beds on the basis of the district hospital, - said Serikzhan Arynov, the chief doctor of the Bayanaul district hospital. - Three people are already receiving treatment in the hospital. All of them were not vaccinated against the coronavirus.

In the entire region, about 90% of those hospitalized with COVID-19 symptoms did not receive the vaccine. Akim of the region Abylkair Skakov reminded local residents about this, stressing that vaccination is the only effective way to form collective immunity to coronavirus infection and stabilize the epidemiologic situation.

In the village of Bayanaul, the head of the region met with the elders of the district. During the dialogue, the veterans raised issues that concern the villagers. Murat Rakhmetov, an honorary resident of Bayanaul district, told about the reverse side of tourism development in the district. According to him, only on Lake Zhasybai there are more than 40 holiday homes that use underground water that feeds the resort reservoir for domestic purposes. If the issue of sewerage is not resolved in the future, Murat Rakhmetov fears, the lake may become polluted and become shallow.

- In this case, the question is not so much in finances, as in the readiness of our builders to perform such work, - the head of the region replied. - Even when the water supply was carried out in the village of Toraighyr, the designers did not take into account the features of the rocky soil. As a result, today there are problems with connecting houses to the water

supply system. It is necessary to choose the right design solution for sewerage in Zhasybai and in the village of Bayanaul.

Anuarbek Kentayev, a resident of the village of Karatomar, a veteran of the civil service, asked to complete the repair of the Zhanatlek –Karashat road. Veteran of pedagogical work Nesken Malikova said that the house of culture in the village of Kanysh Satpayev needs to be updated. Answering the question about the repair of the road, Abylkair Skakov assured that all the projects started will be brought to their logical end and the asphalt pavement will be completely made next year. As for the House of Culture, design and estimate documentation has been prepared for its reconstruction. The governor of the region instructed the district authorities to form an application and submit it to the regional budget commission for consideration. Abylkair Skakov thanked the elders for their indifference to his native district and promised to take into account all their requests and suggestions.
