The production of plastic products is planned to be launched in one of the colleges of Pavlodar on the principles of PPP

Akim of Pavlodar region Abylkair Skakov visited educational institutions of technical and vocational education and got acquainted with the plans for their development.

At the chemical-mechanical college, the head of the region was told about the training of specialists for the enterprises of the chemical cluster. The educational institution has been cooperating for many years with Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant LLP, Kaustik JSC and other factories, where students undergo practical training, and subsequently get a job. The college has certified laboratories, the services of which are used by several Pavlodar enterprises.

“Since 2013, we have a technopark, where this year we are training specialists under the Zhas Maman program,” said the head of the educational institution, Gulnar Amanzholova. - Here students undergo theoretical classes, plumbing and mechanical practice. They receive qualifications of machinists, apparatchiks and mechanics-repairmen, after which they can safely go to production.

As part of a public-private partnership, the college intends to launch a resource center where it will be possible to start the production of plastic products. The private partner is ready to install the necessary equipment and train the pupils of the educational institution on its basis. Abylkair Skakov promised to support the project.

“Such projects are the result of combining the efforts of the education system, business structures and the government,” he said. - To launch this project faster, we can attract Pavlodar SEC as a third partner. It is necessary to create such a model of interaction so that there are no bureaucratic obstacles. The idea is quite real, the main thing is to work out the mechanism.

At the College of Information Technologies, the regional akim was shown virtual reality simulators produced by the TEKRI company. A graduate of the educational institution Roman Kiselev presented an interactive module for assembling and disassembling the Belarus tractor, in the creation of which he himself took part. The head of the region proposed to introduce similar technologies for teaching the management of modern agricultural machinery.

“Our agrarians today are forced to invite specialists for this work from Georgia, Ukraine and Belarus, because they cannot find trained people here,” said Abylkair Skakov. “It would be nice if our local machine operators could be trained on a simulator to learn how to operate a new generation of agricultural machines.

The akim also visited the workshops of the College of Information Technologies, where students are taught in practice programming, robotics and 3D modeling. Here he was told that an IT hub was being created on the basis of the educational institution.

“The IT hub provides a business incubator, a competence center, a vocational guidance and career center,” said the head of the educational institution Serik Dzhatybaev. “Among other things, we would like to create an accessible environment for students with disabilities. We have the teaching staff for the IT hub.

At the Higher College of Electronics and Communications, the head of the region visited the laboratories of mobile robotics, control of unmanned aerial vehicles, electronics and others. The educational institution has its own "training ground", where students are trained in the installation of fiber-optic lines. This makes it easier for students to switch to production. Local graduates are recruited by large telecommunications companies.
