Residents of Pavlodar region joined the "Marathon of good deeds"

All residents of the region are encouraged to participate in the national project initiated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev.

The "Marathon of Good Deeds" is held throughout the country in the year of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence. Today Pavlodar region has joined it. A single regional calendar will include all charitable events and events of local executive bodies, non-governmental organizations and businesses.

“I am sure that the“ Marathon of Good Deeds ”initiated by the Head of State will unite people from different spheres and all corners of our region,” said the head of the region Abylkair Skakov during an organizational meeting on the implementation of the project. “I think that the good deeds that have been started will certainly help the people of Kazakhstan, who need our support. This year our country is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Independence, and organizing such a noble action is the best way to celebrate the anniversary. Indeed, it is good deeds, unity and harmony that are the main values of independent Kazakhstan and its citizens.

Representatives of large industrial enterprises of the region take part in the "Marathon of Good Deeds". Under the auspices of a nationwide project, Aluminum of Kazakhstan JSC, for example, launched their traditional campaign “Nauryz - a month of good deeds”. Another project of the industrialists was the opening of a social carpentry shop in Pavlodar, where people with special needs can work.

In the villages of the region, agricultural enterprises are connected to the patronage movement. For example, in the Aktogay region, entrepreneurs took over the maintenance of a local children's hockey team.

“Last year, an indoor hockey court was built in the regional center under the“ Auyl - el besigi ”program, where children can go in for sports, skate and play hockey,” said Alexander Terentyev, head of Aktogay Agro LLP. - I think we will have a good hockey team and we will restore the former glory of Aktogay hockey. To begin with, we buy a complete set of hockey uniforms. I would like to urge my colleagues to support the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan, and all Pavlodar residents to do good.

Social activists also shared their plans. The founder of the Ertis Runners running club, Dikhan Amanzholov, spoke about his intention to hold a large-scale race in Pavlodar with the participation of runners from other regions of the country and neighboring countries. If the initiators manage to organize this marathon, most of its proceeds will go to charity. Now amateur athletes conduct free running trainings. Everyone who wants to go jogging is welcome every Sunday at 09:00 on the street. Lermontov, 44 in Pavlodar.

The "Marathon of Good Deeds" provides assistance to lonely pensioners and people with disabilities, conducting master classes on playing musical instruments and training in various sports, organizing courses for aspiring entrepreneurs, teaching children art and much more. According to the organizers, at least 400 thousand people will participate in the national project in the region.
