Special attention to be paid to the construction of rental and credit housing in Pavlodar region

The tasks on housing development and other important socio-economic issues are included in the plan for execution of the President’s instructions, given at the enlarged meeting of the Government of Kazakhstan on January 26.

The priorities are to support the economic activity of people of the region, employment, housing, development of health care and education systems. In addition, a medium-term plan for the development of Ekibastuz is worked out in the region. The document will be agreed with citizens and then submitted to the Government for approval.

“This year it is planned to create 20447 new jobs in the region, including 12268 permanent ones. 940 workplaces will be created within the projects “Employment Roadmap”, including 307 permanent and 633 temporary”, the head of the Department of Economy and Budget Planning Irina Nazarchuk said. 

Special attention is paid to the construction of rental and credit housing in the region. In 2021 it is scheduled to commission more than 1500 apartments of this category. KZ 4.5 bln has been allocated to support small and medium-sized business under the program “Business Road Map”. More than 90 projects are planned to be financed under the program “Economy of simple things”. Another 40 projects of the entrepreneurs will receive loans under the program «Еңбек».

It is scheduled to open competence centers in 10 directions of the economy in 10 colleges of the region. It will allow training more than 2000 specialists and improving the skills of 1000 teachers for two years. As for secondary education, in order to reduce a shortage of places at the schools, it is planned to create more than 16000 new places over the next five years and transfer all schools to two-shift education. It will be achieved by construction of new schools and additional buildings to the existing educational institutions.
