144 families have a house-warming in Aksu

The nine-storied building was constructed in the 4th microdistrict of Aksu under the program “Nurly Zher”. One of those, who found an apartment in the new house, was 28-year-old Ilya Perfilyev. The man was on the waiting list for housing for five years. All that time he rented the flat.

“I work in the traffic company in Pavlodar and, therefore, I have to rent a flat in the regional center. It is expensive for me to give KZ 40000-50000 for the flat for a month. I am very happy that I have found the apartment. Today the main thing is to furnish it and I can live in it. In the future I plan to buy a car”, he said.

Ilya Perfilyev's neighbor was Maria Faizullina, who was on the waiting list for housing for 13 years.

“It was difficult all that time. We have moved to the village with our children. Today I am genuinely happy. I am glad that I will be able to give a party and invite my children and grandchildren. Thanks to everyone, who is involved in our family holiday!”, the woman told.

Orphans, pensioners, disabled people, families raising children with disabilities, single-parent families and representatives of other categories found 144 apartments from the state housing stock. Akim of Pavlodar region Abylkair Skakov, who gave the keys from the flats to the new settlers, wished them happiness and prosperity.

“It is very important for any person to have his own flat”, the head of the region said.

By the end of 2021 it is scheduled to commission four more residential buildings (290 flats). After their commissioning, the queue for housing in the city will be reduced by 17%. Today, there are more than 2300 people.
