When Paris is a Short Way Off

In the conversation with the ambassador, Bulat Bakauov stated that France is an important foreign economic partner of Pavlodar Oblast. The following numbers can demonstrate it: in 2017, the commodity turnover between our region and France increased by more than three times and was 13 million USD.

– With the support of French companies the project for the production of dairy foods with “Food Master” company has been implemented successfully, – said Oblast Akim. –Kazakhstan-French enterprise “SIM Format” operates in our region. The Interstate Council of Railroad Transportation granted them the right to deliver products to the domestic market and to the CIS states. In the future, it is planned to construct the hydrogen conversion unit at Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant together with the French party.

In his turn, the guest mentioned that France construes Pavlodar Oblast as a partner in different areas of activities, but mainly in industry and agriculture.

– We are ready to meet with the representatives of enterprises of your region, – he emphasized. – If there are any investment projects, we are ready to consider them. If required we are able to look for business partners for you in France.

The businesspeople from France willing to consider the joint projects and a possibility of investments were present at the meeting in Oblast Akimat together with the ambassador.
