Bulat Bakauov: the Share of imports on the shelves of Pavlodar region should be reduced

The head of the region said at the reporting meeting before the deputies of maslikhat that much attention is paid to the development of entrepreneurship in Pavlodar region. In total, this year more than 4 billion tenge was allocated to support the business.

– Our region is the leader among the regions in the number of subsidized projects and grants – 182 grants, – said Bulat Bakauov. – 94 start-up entrepreneurs have already received micro-loans. Tax Amnesty measures have become a significant aid for small and medium-sized businesses. It covers 3200 entrepreneurs who have debts on taxes in the amount of 11.7 billion tenge.

According to official data, since the beginning of the year the number of SMEs has increased by 7.8%, and the coverage of the employed population has increased to 133 thousand people. Output for the first quarter increased by almost 14% and amounted to 142.9 billion tenge.

– The new program “Economy of simple things” has become a great support for entrepreneurs and processing enterprises, – said the Governor of the region. – This program is only gaining momentum. Approved projects are available, under consideration in banks too, but it is too early to talk about its results. Here it is necessary to activate the akims of cities and districts. Due to the implementation of the program “Economy of simple things” the share of imports on the shelves of the region should be reduced.
