Vaccination against COVID-19 started in Pavlodar region

Deputy akim of the region Aizada Kurmanova and head of the Department of Health Aidar Sitkazinov were one of the first, who had been vaccinated against COVID-19 in the polyclinic of “Almaz Medical Group” LP. Before vaccination they were examined. There were no any contraindications. The patients were under medical observation for 30 minutes after the vaccination. 

“I was taken my blood pressure, checked the oxygen saturation. I decided to be vaccinated to be sure of my health”, deputy akim of Pavlodar region Aizada Kurmanova shared with reporters.

The head of the regional fund of social health insurance Nurlan Kasimov and deputy head of the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision Zamzagul Doshchanova have been vaccinated against the coronavirus infection today.

“The volunteers were injected with the first component of the drug “Gam-COVID-Vac”. After 21 days there will be the second stage of the vaccination and doctors will use the other component. Two different components cannot be mixed. So, it was decided to do vaccination in different vaccination rooms”, the head of the Department of Health Aidar Sitkazinov noted.

The first batch of the drug "Gam-COVID-Vac" (Sputnik V) has been delivered to Pavlodar the day before. It is planned to use it during two weeks. First of all, medical workers will be vaccinated. The mass vaccination will be done stage by stage taking into account the drug delivery to Pavlodar region.
