The project "People's control" is carried out in Pavlodar region

The project is aimed at preventing industrial accidents and employing disabled people.

Today, "People's control" is implemented at 10 enterprises of Pavlodar region where people with disabilities are employed. Their main task is observance of the safety procedures at the production sites. For example, “KSP Steel” LP takes part in the project. According to the results of the last year, two cases of occupational injuries were registered there, while earlier there were 8-9 cases.  "People's control" started introducing in small Pavlodar enterprises, such as "Gorkomkhoz-Pavlodar" LP and "MK Eurasia-Agro" LP.

The Pavlodar tram department has also decided to strengthen the control. Inspectors will monitor the situation using 15 video cameras installed in the territory of the tram depot and 35 cameras installed in city cars.

“Every operator of "People's control" monitors the sites in real time and registers the detected violations and then informs the appropriate services about them. All operators have a full social package and will work on shift system. In the future, the head of the tram department plans to organize workplaces of the operators at their place of residence”, the head of the regional Department of Labour Askar Kapanov noted.

"Roadmap for reducing occupational injuries and workplaces with harmful working conditions" until 2023 is also introduced in Pavlodar region. One of its tasks is to conduct an information campaign to involve enterprises in the implementation of the program "Vizion Zero" of the International Social Security Association. This project has been implemented in the European countries for the first time and shown the positive results in reducing the number of road accidents.

It will be recalled that the project “People's control” was presented in 2019 during the President's visit to the ferroalloy plant of “TNC Kazchrome” JSC in Aktobe region. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev charged to consider the possibility of implementation of that project in all places.
