Today three cities and nine areas of Pavlodar region are in "red zone", one area - Bayanaul - in "yellow". 235 cases of the coronavirus infection were registered in the region in the past 24 hours (January 21). The daily increase was 2.13%. Akim of the region Abylkair Skakov said that it was necessary to significantly strengthen control of the observance of the sanitary and epidemiological requirements and explanatory work among residents of the cities and areas.

“In winter, when people most often stay at home, they invite each other, especially in the rural areas. Holidays are still celebrated. After that, we can register news cases of the disease. If there is a need to close an area or village, do it. The most important thing is to explain the restrictive measures, you will take, to people”, Abylkair Skakov said.

The head of the region charged the monitoring groups to control the crowded places where the orders of the medical doctors are ignored. In addition, the monitoring groups will send the results of the violations to the coordination center. The remote work will also be taken under control in Pavlodar region. More recently, the cases of the coronavirus infection among personnel have increased.

The head of the region forbade akims of the cities and areas to made people work on COVID-19 cases. As Abylkair Skakov noted, the fight against the virus should be the issue №1 for all heads. Based on the results of this work, each of them will be assessed.
