It is planned to hold some fairs in the region and adjust supply situation of agricultural products to the retail network, excluding intermediaries.
A special commission was created the day before. It consisted of the workers of the government agencies, epidemiologists and members of the public. They visited the supermarkets “Greenwich”, “iNMART”, “SMALL” and market “Rakhmet”. In "Greenwich" representatives of the commission were told that the cucumbers "Meva" had been purchased at KZ 1050 for a kilogram and it was made an addition to the price - 10%. In “iNMART” the cost of a kilogram of the same cucumbers was KZ 1400, in the supermarket “SMALL” – KZ 1149 and in the market “Rakhmet” they can be bought at KZ 970 for 1 kg.
“Cucumbers are a seasonal product and each time on the eve of New Year the question of their cost is raised. We do not have our own distribution center for exchange commodities. Therefore, we work with two deliveries who supply us cucumbers from the greenhouse from Aksu”, the director of the supermarket “iNMART” Kuandyk Dosumov said.
“The selling price for cucumbers, grown in the Aksu greenhouse complex is KZ 850 for a kg. However, while this product delivers to the market, it changes some intermediaries who have their own margins”, deputy akim of Pavlodar region Asain Baikhanov noted.
“Unfortunately, not all chain stores have the possibility to deliver fruits and vegetables to the markets or store them in the warehouses. At the same time, our producers of cucumbers in Aksu and Ekibastuz are not engaged in retail sales of their products. Therefore, our task is to organize direct deliveries between producers and sellers. After that, we will monitor the prices for the same cucumbers in the retail network. We will also work on the supply of potatoes, carrots and other products”, deputy akim of the region, headed the commission, noted.
On the eve of New Year and after the holidays it is scheduled to hold some agricultural fairs in Pavlodar, Ekibastuz and Aksu to stabilize the cost of fruits and vegetables. At the fairs it is promised to sell fruits and vegetables at the producer prices.
In order to hold down the prices for basic-needs products in the future, it is planned to significantly increase the stabilization fund at the social-entrepreneurial corporation "Pavlodar". Today, the products from the stabilization fund are sold in the stores.
“The lowest price for sugar is in January, when the demand for it is fallen. Therefore, we will buy sugar for the stabilization fund early in the next year. When the price of sugar increases in the summer and autumn, we will make commodity interventions. In the same way, we schedule to work on other positions of the stabilization fund”, Asain Baikhanov noted.
We will also purchase additional volumes of sunflower oil, flour, buckwheat and macaroni products for the stabilization fund.
