The building is there!

More recently, the initiative group of mothers with many children appealed to the akim of Pavlodar region to open an additional center for the rehabilitation of children with disabilities. The room in which it is offered to place, already started repairing. This building is a former kindergarten, which, by the way, is adjacent to the regional rehabilitation center for children with disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The current center has all the necessary medical equipment and, most importantly, the pool, which was so much asked by the parents.

– Initially this room after improvement planned to give under a nursery, but if our mothers of many children agree, it will give it for needs of special children, – the head of Department of coordination of employment and social programs Kairat Nurmagambetov speaks. – The room is designed for 80 seats. The rehabilitation period lasts up to three months, after which they have a vacation, which means that during the year about 300 children will be able to undergo rehabilitation.

The building was inspected by akim of Pavlodar region Bulat Bakauov. He noted that to place in the free room of the children needing treatment. The head of the region instructed to discuss this issue with the parents of young patients. Although employees of the existing rehabilitation center, which serves 62 children, are now ready to take other children.

– We have extensive experience in working with such children, – says Rosa kadyrbekova, acting Director of the center for the provision of special social services for the rehabilitation of children with musculoskeletal disorders. – Some children are at us till 4 o’clock, some – till 10 o’clock, and the children who arrived from other cities and areas of area – round the clock. During the year we serve about 180 children during the year and the expansion of our center will be only a plus for Pavlodar region.
