The new head

The Department of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Tourism of Pavlodar region will be headed by Kanat Shabenov.

Bulat Bakauov set the primary tasks before the new head.

“First of all, creation of the favorable business climate, attraction of investments in small and medium business, increasing efficiency in the implementation of the program of business development. We should have concrete proposals for the development of mass entrepreneurship, including family. Do not forget about creation of a tourist cluster and work on price control in the market”, the head of the region said.

Kanat Shabenov graduated from Moscow State Academy of Motor-Car and Tractor Engineering, by speciality – mechanical engineer. He has the master’s degree in public and local administration, candidate of technical sciences. In 2002 he began his career as a chief specialist of the Department of Social Protection and Employment of Pavlodar region.

In 2003 he worked as the head of the section of energy complex, public utilities of the Department of Public Utilities, Transport and Communications of Pavlodar region.

From June 2003 to September 2006 – deputy head of the Department of Public Utilities, Transport and Communications of Pavlodar region, deputy head of the Department of Passenger Transport and Motor Roads of Pavlodar region, student of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From September 2006 to July 2007 – Pavlodar region akim’s adviser.

From July 2007 to December 2009 – deputy head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industry.

From 2009 to July 2013 – head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industry of Pavlodar city.

The last place of work – director of the machine-building complex “KSP Steel” LP.
