Assistance to the victims of the flood

The humanitarian assistance (10 tons) rendered to the North-Kazakhstan region. They were products, building materials, materials and etc. All areas of Pavlodar region collected everything for people from Petropavlovsk, who had been victims of the flood.

Assistance for neighbors from the Northern Kazakhstan was organized during two days. Large enterprises, small and medium business, public figures and Pavlodar citizens took part in it.

“We sent flour, macaroni products, sunflower oil, stew, potatoes as well as household appliances, clothes, bed cloths and building materials. Everything is new. Monetary funds were not collected in principle. The assistance was organized on the initiative of the regional akimat with support of akimats of the cities and areas as well as maslikhats of all levels”, Iliya Terenchenko said.

The caravan from 8 trucks went to the place of destination through the Kazakh-Russian border.

“Our colleagues from NKR say that they have not remembered such large flood in the region. Now we know that hundreds of houses have been flooded, people have suffered. Pavlodar region has provided not only charitable assistance, our specialists work there. We have sent the necessary equipment as well”, the secretary of the Pavlodar regional maslikhat Vladimir Berkovskiy said.
