Pavlodar started fighting with mosquitoes.

The first plane AN-2 with biological preparation “Bacticide” treated the floodplain of the Irtysh River early in the morning on May 11.

“First air treatment was scheduled for May 7-8. The planes were ready for these dates but there was the strong wind. The scientific group recommended to extend the deadline. If the conditions allow and according to the forecast, the weather is fine, we will finish the work within 2-3 days. In total, we have to treat 14150 he in Pavlodar and 2600 he in Aksu”, the chief specialist of the Pavlodar regional branch RSE “Phytosanitation” Ivan Kisel said.

According to the representatives of the scientific group, today mosquito larvae are in the second stage of the development.

“It means that we still have time until the third stage and formation of wriggler begin. Every day our group inspects the floodplain and all coastal territory from Kenzhekol to Pavlodar village is under supervision and control”, biologist-entomologist of the scientific group Anuar Alshin explained.
