“Pavlodar plans to open production of paint materials from microsphere”, said in the meeting in the regional akimat.

Mineral raw materials are formed during ash removal at the reservoirs of the power enterprises, when ash is mixed with the water. After mineral raw materials are processed into a commodity microsphere, which is used in the production of oil well cement used in oil production and construction, production of thermal insulation, paint materials and plastic products.

“We have chosen this direction in 2013. We annually produce about 1000 tons of mineral raw materials and process this volume in 700-800 tons of commodity microsphere”, the director general of “Metallogamma” LP Megralym Seralinov said.

The enterprise expects to produce mastic, heat-insulating paint and polymer floor from the commodity microsphere. The company has already had the land in the special economic zone “Pavlodar” and we are waiting for the delivery of the factory plant, installed and tested in Novosibirsk.

“It is a very interesting project and Pavlodar region is in need of it. The enterprise should have necessary support”, the head of the region Bulat Bakauov noted.

In addition, participants of the meeting discussed the implementation of the aluminum alloying project. As it turned out, “Giessenhaus” LP plans to produce the first aluminum ingot to the Day of Astana.

“At the end of June a car will be delivered to Pavlodar to transport liquid aluminum. Then we will receive crucibles (special containers for transportation of liquid aluminum)”, the founder of the company Viktor Lituev said.

“The company has already had preliminary agreements with some Italian plants for delivery of a pilot batch of alloys. When foreign customers are convinced that the quality of products is high, it will be possible to talk about other contracts. Akim of Pavlodar region also promised to help the enterprise. By the way, one of the points for creating the necessary infrastructure for businessmen has been already fulfilled. The road from the Kazakhstan Electrolysis Plant has been already repaired. The liquid aluminum will be transported from there to the special economic zone “Pavlodar”, where the plant is”, he added.
