Akim of Pavlodar region supported the idea to open an open-air museum in Bayanaul

After the expedition to Bayanaul area, Bulat Bakauov charged the working group on the implementation of the “Tugan zher” to develop a plan for the improvement of the historical and archaeological places, located in the National Park.

The head of the region held a meeting and considered the issue of preserving the historical and cultural heritage of the region.

“We have this natural beauty and all historical value of this land, therefore, we must preserve it. We should made Bayanaul attractive for tourists so that guests can not only rest, swim and walk, but also learn the rich history and culture of the region”, akim of the region said.

Bulat Bakauov noted that all important historical and archaeological places of Bayanaul area should be landscaped and fenced.

It is a reminder that a new tourist route has been presented in Bayanaul last weekend. People can see the birthplace of the first Kazakh film director Shaken Aimanov, place of living of Ablai knan, Danatas and Kempirtas rocks, archeological monument “Tumulus with ridges “, popularly called “Bayanaul stonehenge ” and tombs of the Bronze Age and others.
