Benefits for rural consumer cooperatives!

Akim of Pavlodar region criticized the work of the Department of Agriculture. He noted that rural consumer cooperatives do not have full information of the benefits and preferences.

Bulat Bakauov met with 45 members of the Karatek rural consumer cooperative during the working trip to May district. In this rural district there are 2.7 th heads of cattle and it is engaged in breeding, but, as it turned out, it does not know about all state programs for RCC.

“We have money for rental of stud bulls from the large breeding farms of Pavlodar region. Small peasant farms should not spend a lot of money to buy bulls”, akim of the region said.

Villagers did not know about it and they were ready to rent cattle. Representatives of the Department of Agriculture said that it was their mistake.

“There will be no result if the work of rural consumer cooperatives is organized in this way. RCCs are not abbreviation, they must work and use all preferences! I charge to improve the work of Karaterek RCC. I’m sure that in some years the district will have 5 th heads”, Bulat Bakauov added.

In addition, some villagers complained that they had not yet been paid subsidies for the last year. Representatives of the farm “Riza” of May area said that they had collected all necessary documents at the end of 2016 and no result. Аkim of the region entrusted to solve the problem and noted that it was not the first time when peasants complained about non-payment of subsidies.
