Pavlodar region in the top three

According to the economic growth, Pavlodar region is in the top three in the country.  “During seven months of 2017 the index of actual volume of the industry in Pavlodar region increased by 5%, agriculture – by 6%, construction – by 25%, housing – 39% and retail trade – by 4%”, akim of the region Bulat Bakauov reported in the session in the regional maslikhat.

“For this time the region has achieved positive dynamics in almost all macroeconomic indicators. From the beginning of the year, following the results of the first quarter, the economy grew by 5.6%. We have entered the leaders’ triad. Production volumes increased in all sectors of the industry, especially in the mining sector, where the growth was almost 12%”, he added.

“This year it is planned to invite about KZ 443 bln of investments in the economy of Pavlodar region. 3 projects (KZ 6.6 bln) have been put into operation in Priirtyshye within the Industrialization Map. It is expected to commission five more projects by the end of the year”, akim of the region noted.

Bulat Bakauov also told about the active technological re-equipment of the industrial plants working in the region, which had invested about KZ 100 bln in their modernization and reconstruction.
