The first in Kazakhstan

The rehabilitation clinic was opened in Pavlodar for people who had cardiac surgery. It is the first medical institution in Kazakhstan, where patients will have rehabilitation.

The clinic (for 40 beds) took 12 patients on the first day. By the way, every year about 1500-1600 people need medical rehabilitation only in Pavlodar region.

“In our center patients have the stage after early rehabilitation. Patients should know about healthy eating, physical activity and much more. Here cardiac rehabilitation and exercise therapy specialists, massagers and psychologists will work with people. The rehabilitation course – 10 days”, the cardiac rehabilitation specialist Saltanat Satbayeva said.   

The clinic is located in the building of the former sanatorium “Densaulyk”. Cosmetic repair was made there, but it is necessary capital repair. In addition, the center needs a swimming pool so that patients can have water treatment. Akim of Pavlodar region visited the clinic and charged to consider the opportunity to install a modular pool and said that the building of the center should be repaired by the end of the year.
