The center, providing social and medical services to pensioners, has been presented in Pavlodar region. It will work on the principle of public-private partnership. Here, senior citizens will improve their health and do everything they love.

The initiator of the project was Pavlodar businesswoman Zinaida Parkhomenko. She had the idea to create a center where pensioners could improve their health and rest.

“Not every old person has children or grandchildren who can visit him, and our people are ready to take care of them and pay attention to them. They will plant vegetables, raise small cattle, go mushrooming and berry picking”, she said.

The sanatorium for senior citizens has been opened in the recreation zone “Chernoyarskaya pearl”. There is a room for physiotherapy, treatment room, halochamber, phyto bar and baths with extract of antlers. “ If earlier 1800 people had medical treatment, now their number will be increased up to 2300”, Department of Employment and Social Programs.

“Pensioners often tell me that they have treatment in the center only once in four years. I hope that this problem will be solved now”, akim of Pavlodar region said.

Pensioners can improve their health in the center under the state order. They should write an application to the Department of Employment and Social Programs Department where they live.
