Forest nurseries can be private

During the visit to Beskaragay nursery of the natural reserve “Ertis ormany”, representatives of the Department of Land Management, Environment and Water Resources noted that the annual need of the region for greenery was about 3 mln. However, it is impossible to cover the need only with the republican timbermen and, therefore, the project for creation of a forest nursery was developed. It will be directly subordinated to the regional akimat. The project cost is KZ 200 mln.

“Now you ask KZ 200 mln for the forest nursery, then you will need money for young plants, after – for maintenance of the staff.  It is better to offer businessmen to grow the forest. Explain that you will purchase young plants in the required quantities at a certain price and entrepreneurs, I am sure, will do it”, the head of the region said.

Akim of the region also reminded about the effectiveness of spending public money during visiting rural schools. For example, the head of the school of Baimuldin, where 84 children study, have asked KZ 72 mln to repair the school.

“Today, many projects are considered. Money will be allocated only for the necessary things – repair of roofs, heating systems and thermal modernization”, Bulat Bakauov added.

The head of the region inspected the work on the road Shakat – Vostochnoe – Shalday. 22-km section of the road is reconstructeding. It will be completed in October next year.
