The parties will promote exchange and cooperation in trade and economy, energy, agriculture, science and technology, education, culture and tourism. Two regions assume responsibilities to support the contacts and discuss the issues.

“In the meeting of the countries of Shanghai Cooperation Organization, held in Astana in June this year, the head of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and the head of China Xi Jinping emphasized the development of trust relations between the countries. Agreements of abolition of some kinds of taxes were achieved as well as the issues of further implementation of the planned projects in construction and transport prospects were discussed. Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that Kazakhstan had opened many joint ventures with China.  We organized our visit in order to support the initiatives of the heads of the states and work in the development of bilateral relations carried out by the governments of two countries”, akim of Pavlodar region said before signing the memorandum.

Representatives of two regions also signed some agreements. In particular, the Agency for Attraction of Investments of Pavlodar region and Committee for Promotion of International Trade of Shanxi Province as well as the heads of Ekibastuz and Hejin cities agreed to cooperate.

Then the Pavlodar delegation visited the fifth session of the Chinese exhibition of sale of agricultural products. There were the products from Pavlodar region: “Kemmi” LP, “Krendel” LP, “Rubicom” LP and others.

“We wanted to bring our flour to China, but there were some difficulties with transportation of the product across the border. As a result, we brought macaroni products, confectionery, sausage products and canned food. Participants of the exhibition liked Pavlodar honey”, the head of the Department of Agriculture Oraz Dyuzdenbayev said.

In Shanxi Province Bulat Bakauov held meetings with top managers of the chemical corporation CCESCC and company “Railway Construction Engineering Corporation N5”.
