Ekibastuz and Hejin agreed to cooperate

The delegation of akim of Pavlodar region is still in the People’s Republic of China. Today, some representatives of the delegation visited the Chinese city – Hejin. A memorandum of mutually beneficial cooperation was signed between Ekibastuz and Hejin cities. The opportunities of business, cultural and tourist cooperation, investment proposals of the parties were discussed.

During the visit, the delegation of akimat and business (Ekibastuz), accompanied by the branch manager of “Kazakh Invest” Olzhas Ryskeldy, visited the city hospital of four largest industrial enterprises of Hejin in the fields of coal chemistry, ash and energy processing.

Within the agreements, representatives of the research institute, one of the largest Chinese corporations for production of coke, coal gas and benzene plan to pay a visit to Ekibastuz to study the industry and potential of using the coal chemistry.

“The memorandum will help to strengthen the cooperation between two cities of Ekibastuz and Hejin.  Our cities are very similar. We will develop cultural relations and work with medicine and education”, akim of Ekibastuz city Kairat Nukenov noted.
