Develop rural area

The solemn meeting, dedicated to the Day of Agricultural Worker, was held in the city Palace of Culture of Yestay. Veterans of the agro-industrial complex and specialists of agriculture, who were recognized as the best workers of the year, were invited to the holiday. Everyone could visit the exhibition of the achievements of Pavlodar agricultural producers. Deputy akim of Pavlodar region Baurzhan Kasenov, who summed up the preliminary results in the agro-industrial complex, congratulated participants of the meeting.

“Since the beginning of the year more than KZ 12 bln of budget funds have been invested into the development of agriculture of the region. About 40 facilities with investments of over KZ 2 bln have been launched and modernized in the cities and areas and150 workplaces created. In the region there is the work on the construction of dairy farms and creation of family feedlots. As a result, more than KZ 4.5 bln will be invested in the construction of dairy farms. It will reduce the deficiency of dairy raw materials in Pavlodar region. Thanks to the state support of livestock breeding, the work on pedigree transformation is actively carried out. It will allow increasing the proportion of cattle breeding stock. The availability of the water resources gives the opportunity to develop irrigated agriculture. Within the state program for the development of the agro-industrial complex for 2017-2021, in our region it is planned to restore more than 23000 he of regular irrigation to the total sum of KZ 10 bln, allocated from the republican budget”, he said.

The deputy head of the region congratulated all those, who were involved in agriculture. Specialist got honorary diplomas, letters of thanks and other awards.  A big concert was organized for civil servants.
