The State Institution "Department of Employment and Social Programs of the city of Karaganda" is a service provider of 17 types of public services (15 - on an alternative basis, 2 - through the State Corporation "Government for Citizens").
As of January 1, 2024, the State Institution "Department of Employment and Social Programs of the city of Karaganda" provided 41,660 public services, which in comparison compared to the same period in 2022 (40,428 services), an increase of 1,232 services or 3%.
Of these: 13,326 were provided through the State Corporation "Government for Citizens" (10,410 services in 2022), an increase of 2,916 services or 28%; 28,334 services were provided in electronic format (29,979 services in 2022), 1,645 services or 5% were reduced (through the e–government portal 13,798 services were provided, information systems – 14,536 services).
In order to increase the share of public services in electronic format, an action plan has been approved to organize the transition to an electronic form of provision, which covers not only the processes of providing services in electronic format, but also their popularization, as well as a schedule of public awareness on accessible media and social Internet platforms.
A customer self-service area has been organized with the prompt support of consultants not only to receive online services, but also to receive EDS.
In addition, in order to raise public awareness, work was carried out on an ongoing basis to increase the awareness of service recipients about the procedure for providing public services, including through the media. As part of this, materials were published in the media during the reporting period, seminars were held, events to explain the forms of public services, training seminars for employees providing public services, public service fairs, etc. others . 297 events were held with coverage of 21,198 people.
In 2023, during the internal control of the Department of Control of Public Services of the office of the Akim of Karaganda city, together with representatives of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Karaganda region, for the 1st quarter of 2023, unreliable data were revealed in the report on the following public services:
- "Reimbursement of the cost of home schooling for children with disabilities":
According to the reporting data, 10 services were provided, 12 services were actually provided, the difference was 2 services. It is recommended to make appropriate adjustments to the report on public services for the 1st quarter of 2023 when forming the report on the results of 2023;
At the same time, it should be noted that there are no complaints from service recipients about the quality of services provided.
