Seminar-discussion for senior counselors
On November 8, a seminar-discussion for senior counselors of the city schools on the topic was held at the Palace of Creativity of Schoolchildren: "Problems and solutions to the adaptation of a counselor in an educational institution". In the first part of the seminar, participants were introduced in detail to regulatory documents and "Job descriptions of a counselor at school."
During the practical part, a discussion took place between three groups of listeners who were designated before the seminar. The young counselors identified several problematic moments experienced in the first months of work at the school. After that, more experienced specialists with 3-4 academic years behind them offered their point of view and the main ways to overcome crisis situations. The presentations of the first two groups were summarized by the expert counselors, offering their own ways of adapting the young counselor.
The seminar-discussion was attended by counselors from 24 schools of the city, who left a lot of grateful feedback and suggestions after the event.
