Holiday with lifeguards

Holiday with lifeguards
In the SAMAL park, the rescuers of the Department of Emergency Situations of the East Kazakhstan region arranged a real holiday for the children.
The holidays are ahead and the main task of the emergency service staff is to teach girls and boys safety measures. Each of the guys had the opportunity to go through the obstacle course, overcoming the crossing through the reservoir, help the victim and eliminate the simulated fire using the sleeves of a real fire engine. In addition, the children got acquainted with the four-legged rescuers who are in the service of the Department of Emergency Situations of the East Kazakhstan region. The event was actively supported by the volunteers of the VK branch of the Red Crescent of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
“We liked everything very much, the event was interesting and useful. We realized that it is better not to violate the safety rules so as not to get into trouble. We learned how to provide first aid to the injured and overcome difficulties in an emergency,” said Aisulu Zhandarbekova, a student of school No. 20.
“Children's safety, especially in the summer, is a priority for us. The purpose of such master classes within the framework of Children's Day is to increase the attention of parents and teachers to the safe recreation of children. Since the beginning of the year, our units have rescued 46 children in various emergencies. The main reason why a child needs the help of a professional rescuer is accidents in everyday life,” said Ruslan Orynbekov, Acting Deputy Head of the Department of Emergency Situations of the East Kazakhstan region.
Specialists of the Department of Emergency Situations of the East Kazakhstan region appeal to mothers and fathers during the holidays to pay special attention to being vigilant, and in no case leave their children alone. Parents are primarily responsible for children, and they must do everything possible for the health and safety of their child.
Adults on an ongoing basis to conduct explanatory conversations and bring safety rules at home and on the street.
